Sheet Backups with notifications sending 2x emails

We are testing a Smartsheet backup tool that creates a local copy of the users data in their account. The local copy contains workflows or active content. When a sheet is backed up that has notifications, users are receiving duplicate notifications. 

Is there a way to disable notifications with the backed up copies?

You would have to go into each of the backup sheets and disable them.
