Record a Date Workflow not working with Drop-down column selection
Hello-
I'm trying to use the "record a date" workflow to record when a new selection is chosen from a drop-down list, and the function isn't working for me.
When I choose the trigger column in the workflow, it only shows "when GCE Report Status changes"- not "changes to", and doesn't allow me to select the fields. Could this be the reason the automation isn't working?
I've turned off the conditional formatting and no luck.
The intended column to record the date is set as a date field
I tested other columns, and the trigger does set to "Changes to", if not a drop down field.
I apologize if I'm not wording my questions quite right- I'm a newish user and still learning the ropes. I appreciate any and all suggestions. THANK YOU

For the trigger have the WHEN value set to changes to Any Value.
Add a condition, using the blue + and "Add a condition path".
For your condition path select GCE Report Status and select the condition you want it to meet to record the date.
