Please add a feature that lets you sort your chart data in ascending order (e.g., 1, 2, 3, 4), descending order (e.g., 4, 3, 2, 1) or alphanumeric order (e.g., 1, 2, 3, a, b, c).

I second this!
This would be great!
Yes this is a must have!
has this been worked on? I cant even use a manual sheet to sort the underlying data, I have to reconfigure the chart each time the data rows move.
Seems like an essential feature that was worked on in 2021, but the thread was never updated as completed: https://community.smartsheet.com/discussion/83503/column-order-in-charts
You can somewhat address this with reports - setup a report that sorts your data and then chart the report instead of the sheet. But it doesn't work if you're grouping the data and using the Summary function in reports...then you just get alphabetical sorting only.
Difficult to believe we still can't order a chart from high to low or low to high.
Would love to have this feature one day!
Please add this feature. It will help me present my dashboards more effectively.

This makes it difficult to identify individual photos and creates confusion in workflows that rely on accurate, unique file naming. Why This Matters: Industry Standard:…
