Please add a feature that lets you sort your chart data in ascending order (e.g., 1, 2, 3, 4), descending order (e.g., 4, 3, 2, 1) or alphanumeric order (e.g., 1, 2, 3, a, b, c).

I second this!
This would be great!
Yes this is a must have!
has this been worked on? I cant even use a manual sheet to sort the underlying data, I have to reconfigure the chart each time the data rows move.
Seems like an essential feature that was worked on in 2021, but the thread was never updated as completed: https://community.smartsheet.com/discussion/83503/column-order-in-charts
You can somewhat address this with reports - setup a report that sorts your data and then chart the report instead of the sheet. But it doesn't work if you're grouping the data and using the Summary function in reports...then you just get alphabetical sorting only.

Would love to have this feature one day!
Please add this feature. It will help me present my dashboards more effectively.

It would be useful if users who clicked a Dynamic View link (that they were not previously added to) could "request access" to the Dynamic View, and provide a reason, so that the admin can easily grant that access. The use case for me would be to avoid having to pre-populate and then maintain a user group of viewers, but…
