I was trying to think of a way to have fun using smartsheet to host and create a football pool for my daughters dance team fundraiser. Does anyone have a template already or have any ideas on how to create this?
Can you describe how you would want this to work?
What would the process be for getting information into the system? What would the output be?
Creating one of these for the upcoming world cup would be a great promotional tool for Smartsheet.
Should be fairly easy to develop. Just need a sheet with a form that allows users to select the winning teams (or select draw) for each match. Once the matches are complete the form owner would input the winning teams and the form would automatically calculate the points for each participant. (e.g. 0 points for incorrect, 1 point for correct.) based on whether or not they got the correct answer.
Results would be provided via a read-only report that listed participants sorted by points and by name.
There would need to be a sheet (or form) for each round of the tournament.
This would be great fun within any organization. Thinking about building it myself but short on time these days.

This keeps happening where I will log in and for some sheets, not all, I have view only permissions even though I am the owner of the account and all the sheets. Sometimes a refresh will fix it and other times it won't. Why does this keep happening?
