Smartsheet and Tableau: Can someone connect a sheet with Tableau with viewer permissions?

Hello,

I'm looking into connecting my Smartsheets with Tableau. I have a tableau license and I am the owner/admin of all my sheets (business plan).

For other users, do I need to set up the Smartsheet/Tableau link for them? Can other users create visualizations via Tableau if they have a tableau license and have viewer access to the sheets?

What's the minimum permissions needed to create visualizations from Smartsheets?

I've looked through these pages, but didn't see permissions discussed:

Hi @Brooks

The Connector allows access to anything that the particular user has access to in their Smartsheet account; this includes sheets that are View-Only which is why permissions aren't specified in the Help Article.

This means that yes, other users can create visualizations off of your sheets if they have a Tableau license.
