Is it possible to link a date column in smartsheet to update automatically when you send an email?

Hi,
I was wondering if there is a way to set a date column in smartsheet where for example when I send an email from outlook to an investigator the column will represent the last date I contacted that investigator.
Thank you,
CK

I don't believe there is a way to integrate Outlook and Smartsheet in that manner. You could create a date column for that purpose and then manually set date when you send the email. You could, also, attach the email to the line item so it is readily available for other who might need access to it's contents.
I hope this helps.

Thank you Andrew, it was a long shot. I was hoping for some sort of integration where maybe I could 'bbc' the date column in smartsheet where it shows the date the email was sent to investigators.
Can you please elaborate more on attaching an email to the line item?
