COUNTIF or FIND Functions across multiple sheets

Hi,

I'd like to try and use the FIND or COUNT function across multiple sheets. Is this possible? My idea is to have a master sheet one directory higher than all my actual data sheets and SUM/COUNT attributes based on similar criteria to the example below

For any function you can reference another sheet as shown below.

yeah sort of - i know i can reference another sheet but i wanted to know if i can just COUNTIF (column x [contains y]) all sheets in a directory. without having to reference the sheet by name. In other words all sheets in the same folder

Much appreciated - I'd need to do some further manipulation once i'd gather the info so a report probably wouldn't work.

One alternative could be to use the Grouping and Summary features.
