Smartsheet and MS Teams
I'm not sure if my program manager's desire can be met.
We're currently using MS Teams Meeting Notes tab to record discussions and Action items. The program manager now wants to use Smartsheet to capture and manage the Action log but would like to automatically populate the Action log once an Action item is assigned an owner using the @xxxx function in Teams.
- Is it possible to trigger a Smartsheet input form?
- In the Action log how best can we capture the meeting discussions?
Any alternative ideas are welcome too.
Thanks!

Hi @Nyasha
I personally don't know a way how to do this directly between Smartsheet and Teams, however there may be a third party application (such as Zapier) that can help you connect the two. It looks like Zapier can be triggered by a mention in Teams, which could create a new row in Smartsheet.
You could also look at using the Smartsheet API directly, depending on your account type.
Cheers,
Genevieve
