Can you copy a row from a project sheet (with hierarchy) to a non-project sheet?
I have data stored on the first row of a project sheet. The project sheet has the parent-child hierarchy levels (as per a project plan), but the designation sheet is a "Grid" sheet. When I manually copy the first row of the Project Sheet to the Destination sheet, multiple rows are also copied over (not the desired intent).
Is there an issue with copying a row if the sheet has project settings enabled (dependencies, hierarchies, resource management)?

I hope you're well and safe!
Unfortunately, it's not possible now to copy the row only when it's a Parent row, but it's an excellent idea!
Here's a possible workaround or workarounds
- You could use cross-sheet formulas combined with either a VLOOKUP or INDEX/MATCH structure to connect the sheets, and when you update the source sheet, it will reflect on the destination sheet. You could also copy the row to another sheet if that's needed.
Would that work/help?
I hope that helps!
Be safe, and have a fantastic week!
