Is it possible to display a graph from an excel file hosted on Sharepoint on a Smartsheet Dashboard?

I understand it would be possible to upload the excel file into Smartsheet and display it that way. I'm looking to see if I can link to the excel file itself and have the excel graph displayed automatically in real-time in a Smartsheet dashboard?

Unlikely. If you look at this URL:

It seems that you need to have the content published and then made public on one of the supported platforms. So in your case, using Excel online, making the file public and then using that URL. Your local Sharepoint URL is not on one of the approved domains.

I 'shared' the file to 'anyone with a link' but it's still not displaying on the published dashboard. It's requiring a sign in. The widget on the dashboard is "Web Content" so I used the Share -> Embed to get the link, which is different than the link to the file.

Anyone know how to do this correctly?
