Formula to trigger red flag based on conditional formatting rules?
Is there a formula that will mark a flag red based on conditional formatting of other columns in a row?
For example, I've set up multiple conditional formatting rules within a tracker sheet. I'd like to have a checkbox column with a flag that would turn red if some of those conditions were met using conditional formatting rules.
Is this possible?

@HSabin (Turning a flag red sounds a lot like changing the value in a cell. That is not what conditional formatting does really. Did I misunderstand what you are trying to do?)
You could write a formula for your Flag column that replicated the rules of your conditional formatting rules. That is probably your best path.

@Dale Murphy Thank you. I was hoping to use a formula to trigger the flag, but wanted to use the conditional formatting as the conditions. Sounds like that may not be possible. Was trying to avoid setting up the same "rules" in multiple places (conditional formatting, formulas in cells, etc.). Thank you for the quick reply.
