Hi All, I have a question about COUNTIFS()
The scenario: I am trying to count only the rows that meet two criteria. This sheet tracks requests for headcount by type and by year. So there are two columns among the data, one that states the year requested, and one that states the type requested.
I have two ranges, one for each column in the formula. Each range only highlights the one column
=countifs({Headcount By Type},Category@51,{Headcount By Year},Category@16)
Category@16 = "2021"
Category@51 = "Contingent Worker as seen below
The objective is to have a summary sheet that shows a table like this:
As you can see though, the formula is showing as unparseable. Thanks in advance if anyone has a solution for me!

I hope you're well and safe!
Try something like this.
=countifs({Headcount By Type},Category51,{Headcount By Year},Category16)
Did that work/help?
I hope that helps!
Be safe, and have a fantastic week!

Wow, How in the world did I miss that? It was the "@" that was messing me up. Thank you! I think it ended up in there when I accidentally used the "@row" modifier. All my other formulas are correct!

Excellent! Easy to miss!
