How to restrict rows by contact

Hi all,

I am traying to create a Disciplinary Actions report where the manager can only see the inforamtion he has assigned. I have some others managers, but In the report, I want he only sees the rows that have his name.

    This can be achieved with dynamic view. Do you have that feature?

    Otherwise you can create a new filter, name it, click the share filter button, then select the contact row, is one of, "Current user".

    To add to Michael's excellent advice/answer.

    Here are some other options.

    • Premium App, WorkApps
    • I recently developed a (what I call), Dynamic View Light. It's pretty advanced, but in short, it uses cross-sheet formulas and INDEX/MATCH and a specific structure and method, so it's only possible to show data that should be available.

    Also, if they mustn't be able to access other information, it won't work with a report/filter with Current User if it's not a report in WorkApps.

    Would any of those options work/help?
