How to make a generated PDF protected so that it cannot be edited after generation?

Hello Everyone,

I am currently creating certificates for education credit using fillable PDFs. I have the original PDF password protected with exception to the fillable fields and printing. But as soon as the document is generated, I download it and it is all of a sudden able to be edited without the password prompt. Is there any way to protect this from happening once the PDF is generated from SmartSheet? I am really hoping I do not have to download, edit each one then upload the new version every time. Any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated!

Unfortunately, as far as I know, it's not possible now to keep the file password protected, but it's an excellent idea!

Please submit this as a Product Feedback or Idea (If it hasn't been added already) when you have a moment.
