Conditional Formatting for date

Hi all,

I'm trying to highlight the entire row if the date contains Saturday and Sunday but I'm having some hard time to figure out why it does not work even I click the background color.

Can someone help me out here?

@chuns93 Smartsheet date columns can be kind of funny, and even though you see "Sat" this is just how the human user sees it, and the cell doesn't actually contain "Sat".

A more reliable way would be to add a column and extract the weekday as a number. Saturday is represented as the number 7, then you can trigger your conditional formatting based on that.
