Updating a formula in the Metrics Sheet in Control Center for Existing Projects

Hello! We have a formula in our metrics sheet of our project toolkit templates that is just not functioning well and I want to change this, however because this is the metrics sheet it has several references built into the formula to the project plan - is there a simple way to reflect the updated formula on the existing projects in the portfolio without having to go through and manually create the formula on each project? This isn't adding a new column, and because its referencing other sheet ranges and such it would literally need to be rebuilt on every sheet - I'm not seeing an update feature that appears to provide this change across the portfolio - I'm really hoping I'm missing something.
