Is there a way/function to indicate lack of presence for a cell-linked cell?
I have a sheet where a certain column is nearly all cell-linked cells. A few cells in that column, however, were manually-entered. Is there a formula, or a conditional formatting, that I could apply to indicate that the particular cell is not cell-linked so that users know that it was manually entered? Further, is there a way to indicate in another column (maybe via checkbox) that the referenced cell was not cell-linked and was entered by hand? Use-case here is to give insight into which cells need review and to generate notifications that a linked entry needs to be sought.

There is no way to natively automate that. You MIGHT be able to leverage the API, but without that you are looking at a manual process.
