Can I create a contact group of non-Smartsheet users for a distro list?

Hi,

I'm looking to set up a contact group for an event sign-up sheet, but the audience is mostly non-Smartsheet account/license holders. I'm working on bulk uploading the list as a .csv file and developing the group now, but I'm wondering if everyone on the list will require a license to be able to access it and enter their information.

Can I use Smartsheet to send out the sign-up sheet if the recipients do not have Smartsheet accounts or licenses?

You can create a form and email the link to everyone in the group. Anyone can complete a form so you don't need to worry about licenses etc.

Ok, thanks Meg. I sent a form to a co-worker without a license and it directed her to the log-in landing page.

Is emailing the link vs. sharing the form the way to go here?

Ensure that the form isn't set, so the submitters have to be logged in to Smartsheet to see it.
