Formatting Columns

I have formatted my columns in my sheet to all be right justified. However, when I insert a new row SS changes the format for that row. For example, when I insert a row with characters in a column, it formats it left justified even thought the column has been right justified. Any way to prevent this?

Did you import that sheet from an excel file? I've experienced that with imported sheets when I insert a row or column the sheet retains the original formatting no matter what current formatting I've applied. I haven't found a good workaround yet but if you're sheet is small I would suggest maually building it or trying to get the excel file formatted as close as possible to what you want prior to importing. Not great suggestions but I wanted you to know you're not alone.

Thanks Matt. I have also expereiced that as well with imported sheets but no this is not an imported sheet, it was build from scratch.
