Is it possible to link a column to another sheet vs just a cell

Not exactly but you can use a column formula to populate the whole column from another sheet.

If you have unique identifiers on your one sheet, you can use those to populate the column on the other sheet.

If not, you can create a row ID column and use that to populate the column on our other sheet.
