Auto-numbering on one sheet based off Customer

I want to have one intake sheet that auto-numbers based on a customer.

Example: ABC Company and DEF Company - I submit a new project using a blueprint and I want them to be labeled ABC-0001 and DEF-0001 on the same intake sheet automatically. Is this possible?

@swaldon2 To be clear, is the intake being done using a form? Does the submitter of the form indicate which company there is? Or does every entry create multiple rows for more than one company?
