Using "Current User" as a filter in reports

I have a Current User report on our project dashboard to allow project team to filter their tasks due to be completed across multiple projects.

When the user updates a sheet to complete, it does not update the report. The report only pulls status not equal to complete and assigned to "current user".

Any ideas - how to improve the user experience or correct this issue? Has anyone else noticed this issue?

I think it is a normal behavior.

From a report, the information seem to be pulled when you first open it. It is not live. If you make some changes from the report, you need to save the changes and refresh the report to get any update, like conditionnal formating or data filtering.

You can use that button to refresh the repport.:
