Can Smartsheet have a Status Form?

We recently rolled out a support form where users key in their requirements for a project. However, we realized that users could only check the status if we create a report and filtered down based on the user opening the report. However, this does not allow users to view the projects that their colleagues submitted on their behalf.

I was thinking of creating a form in smartsheet with the project name as a dropdown field. When they select the relevant project, it automatically populates its current status/comments. Please let me know if this is possible.

Unfortunately Forms are only for submitting new records onto a grid.

There is no functionality available for a form to access or update current grid items.

@Ahmed Iqbal - On your Intake Report, you can set up the filter for Submitter OR Sponsor by "Current User" to see what they submitted or what was submitted on their behalf. Or what ever you call the Contact columns. Do you have Dynamic View? If so, you can enter this report into it and set it up to update only the "Intake" items, also. So they can see what was submitted and update it, too.

Not sure about 3rd party integrations, but as Mel mentioned, Reports and Dynamic View might be a good alternate approach.
