# of values allowed in a dropdown
Not all of the values we put in a dropdown are showing when we go to select from it on a form.
Our guess is there is a limit to how many will actually display. I'm not able to find anything on this in the Community or Help and Learning, though.
Thanks in advance for any assistance.

A dropdown column can have up to 5000 entries. I created a test sheet with 200 entries in a dropdown list and created a form with it. The form's dropdown list had all 200 entries in it.
How many entries does your form have?

@Mike TV 3686 values are in the dropdown box.
However, when we open the form, there are a significant amount of values that are not included for selection.
What's interesting it is isn't cutting off the top or bottom of the list. Random selections are missing throughout it.

The Support team received a number of similar reports on November 23rd; we applied a fix for this and you should now see all available dropdown items in your list.
If you're still not seeing the total items, please do follow-up with Support, letting them know the issue was not resolved for your sheet.
Cheers,
Genevieve
