Is there an issue with using an IF statement across multiple sheets?

Hello,

I am having trouble using an IF statement across multiple sheets.

Basically, IF a row has a specific word, it should pull the column I need. Or was there never a link like this before?

You'll want to use index/match formula inside your IF if you're looking to check data on other sheets.

=Index({Column data I need}, match(Word@row, {Word Column}, 0))

Do you know if this works with columns that have the checkbox property?

I am looking for a checked box to bring data into a new sheet.

@Desiree500 Sure, just make your IF statement check to see if that box is checked on. If it is, then go get your data. If it isn't, do nothing.

=if(Checkbox@row = 1, do the index/match thing, "")
