Hello - It would be nice if we could add a secondary axis to charts to show additional data points in one chart. Attached is an example of this ability in excel.

Hi smartsheet. Please include combo graphs as a feature. We badly needed it.
It would be nice if the Widget Charts had the ability to made changes to the chart layout such as:
Axis - set axis values (min/max), set axis units (chart lines by 5's, 10's, etc.), and adjust the axis numbers decimal places, add a secondary axis, insert trend line based on either axis.
Labels/Series - edit label text sizes/color, format decimal place, location of the labels (inside vs outside the bars, pie, etc.).
Here to add that I agree with all of the above, and, would love the opportunity to create mixed-type chars (bars and lines, etc.). I have a really large dataset with many variables measured over time. Representing all that information as a bunch of lines is incredibly messy. I want something like this (created in Excel):
I would love to see trendline functionality on dashboard charts, similar to what is available in Microsoft Excel (see image below, where a linear trendline is called out with an arrow). Trendlines are helpful additions to charts because they can help you to:
Identify trends: A trendline can help you to identify the overall direction of a data series. This can be helpful for spotting trends that may not be immediately obvious from looking at the data points themselves.
Make predictions: Once you have identified a trend, you can use the trendline to make predictions about future values. This can be helpful for planning and decision-making.
Compare different data series: Trendlines can also be used to compare different data series. This can be helpful for identifying which data series is growing or shrinking at the fastest rate.
It would be a great inclusion on the next update to add the Combo Charts. This way, we can lessen many charts on our Dashboards, and we can represent our data on a dynamic way.
I would also like see an update that allows these styles for dashboards.
Agree with all of the above comments. I need to add upper/lower limits so that it is easy for production to see when they are out of spec. I have put this in (a while back) as a request for enhancement.
I hope this is in the works!
I would like to have one more type of graph which is very useful as combo graph to have possibility to combine line graph with column graph into one graph.
I'm so happy to see others pushing for this enhancement. I raised it during Engage last year and have been anxiously awaiting an update.
Is there any update on the combo
charts. It would be great to have the combo chart option to display trends.
Combo charts would be a game-changer. I hope this functionality is implemented soon!
Please enable text to be added to scatter charts. Dots on a chart without text are not useful.
Please add a combination chart for dashboards. I know this item has been requested MULTIPLE times over the years, but Smartsheet keeps ignoring it.
Dashboards are missing charts where users can show both bars and lines on the same chart.
So missing this functionality that would allow Dashboards to be real ones. Nowadays, because of this limitation Smartsheet Dashboards look too basic if not to say primitive, lacking value in visualisation.
Improved graph functionality equivalent to Excel would make the dashboards so much more useful.
Smartsheet does not currently send automated error notifications to Pivot workflow owners when workflows fail, unlike the notification behavior for DataTables, Data Shuttle, and Meshes. Also, when column mappings break on a mesh, the mesh will continue to run with an error. We should expect the same functionality from a…
The Smartsheet Forms currently do not include the attachments in the notification emails as soon as the form has been submitted. Therefore, the Approver and the End Receiver are not able to see the attachments instantly and will have to go to the link to access the table and download from there. We use the Smartsheet Forms…
I'm proposing an added feature to CANCEL an update request without necessarily deleting it, this way we can maintain the history of requests even when they aren't acted upon by the recipient. Sometimes users elect to update rows in grid view rather than from their emails/notifications, or they'll respond to the 20th update…
