Pie Chart Same Data / Legend even if Amount is Zero?

Does anyone know if you can keep the same data set on your pie chart regardless of a total or not? I am doing a sum and some times it is zero. But I need the same legend/data on each time. We have tried it coming from a pivot, regular sheet, report...

Hi @Jaimy Tully,
Unfortunately there's no setting to keep zeros on the charts.
There is a workaround that involves having a value of .001 for the items, so that when they drop to 0 (or 0.001 instead), they still appear on the chart as a zero because there is a value but not enough to round up to a value of 1.
@Paul Newcome and others have provided this answer on other posts. Here's one of them, so you can see the workaround in action. Thanks Paul!

Yes. Ray's response should work for you. Add 0.00001 to each of the calculations then adjust the decimal settings so that none are shown. This will give you a back-end value greater than zero which holds the legend and colors on charts but only shows 0.
