How to authorize Teams to connect to Smartsheets
I am trying to connect Teams to Smartsheets. I have installed the app within teams and the bot is prompting me to allow access and displays an Allow Access button. When I click it, it takes me to a browser window that prompts me to deny or allow. When I click Allow, I receive an error indicating that the Authentication request has expired.
Has anyone else experienced this? How did you fix it?

Hi @Regina2674
How are you getting to the "Allow" button? Would you mind first typing "Hello" or "Hi" in the bot to get started, and see if this brings up the correct allow access flow? (See step 5: Add the Smartsheet bot with Teams)
Thanks!
Genevieve

I have a similar problem. I Type "hello" and get the little smartsheet icon that looks like it is responding, but then there is no response (I waited 11 min)
So then I tried "Register" and 9 min later I get the "Welcome to Smartsheet bot!" I click Allow Access- Allow and get the "Authentication request has expired" message :(

Hi @ktaggart
It sounds like the delay is causing the authorization to time out by the time you can Allow Access. Are you able to try these same steps again but connected to a different network/wifi? I'd like to see if the 9 minute timing still shows up if you're on a faster network.
