How to remove correlation between start/end date and the graph duration.
I am trying to set up a 3 week schedule for tasks, but one of the tasks starts towards the end of the 3 weeks and extends out two months.
Is there a way to keep the duration at two months, but have the graph end at the 3 week mark? The graph doesn't look very clean on paper with one bar taking up half the sheet and making everything else smaller.

Hi @agriffi7
Gantt chart bars are determined by the Start and Finish dates for that row, so no, there isn't a way to have the bar stop earlier than it's actual end date in the Grid of the sheet.
That said, you could potentially set up this specific task as a parent row, then split out the dates into specific child rows (e.g. the first child could be the first 3 weeks, second child the next 3 weeks, and so on).
Then you could use a Row Report to filter and only show the dates you want, only showing the one relevant Child Row, and Print from that Report instead. See: Create Filter Criteria to Control Data in Report Builder
Cheers,
Genevieve
