Issues with cells in a spreadsheet on computer assets

It appears that a large number of cells in the spreadsheet, in a column for costs, have changed from dollar amounts to dates. The column type is set to Text/Number.

Any idea on why this might happen, all cells have the change dat as 8/10/22.

Yes, all the items changed were done my one person 08 8/10/22. But they have no idea what they did to make it happen.

I would suggest changing everything back (of course) but then keeping a close eye on it for a while. It may have bene something accidental by that user, but it may have also been a bug. If it happens again, you may want to reach out to Support.
