Dashboard date not updating from source sheet

Hi i have created a Dashboard that had a widget with the date. This changed automatically with the formula =today() from another source sheet. Since last week in dashboard this date stopped to update automatically and still is showing Jan 13, 2023, but the original source is showing today date. Any idea why this is happening? it's a bug in Smartsheet? The only thing that i did last week was to activate the Publish option to embed in a web page this dashboard.

@Raul Cabrera the today() formula will only update if the sheet is opened and saved. You should instead use an automation to record a date every day at 12am and reference the cell where that date is located.

@Samuel Mueller i just have the doubt if this is something new, because this work on previous weeks. And where can i see some examples on how to do the automation to record a date process that you mention?

Thanks @Samuel Mueller I follow the link and I did it using the automated workflow. Now it is updating the date automatically overnight.
