Hello,
Is it possible to arrange a meeting from within SmartSheet - instead of using Outlook.
That way one could send a meeting invitation where the SmartSheet document would be an attachment similar to Outlook process.
Thanks,
Sigurdur
Hi Sigurdur,
It's probably possible with the help with a third party solution like Zapier or similar.
I have a client right now that needs this as well, and I'm going to test it out soon.
Hope that helps!
Have a fantastic week!

Hi Andrée,
Thank you for your suggestion. I'll check Zapier.
You have a great week too!
Best regards,
Happy to help!
Here's another service you could check out.

Let me know how it works out for you!

How did it go? Did you get something set up?
@Andrée Starå Did a solution for this get figured out since this thread a couple of years ago?
We're looking for this same/similar thing where we can have items on the calendar view have the ability to generate an Outlook Calendar meeting invite based on the dates on the Smartsheet item.

@tylermh There is an option to create the .ics file and generate a link for that file. I use a third party tool called Email Open, but there are other ways to generate a link that props the user to add the invite to their calendar. Once you have this link you can use it like you would any other hyperlink. It would have to be a meeting invite that you create though and then the link would allow the option to have people add to their calendar too. You can pair this with the Smartsheet calendar app which would allow you to hyperlink the invite and add it directly to the meeting information. Here I have the Teams link hyperlinked, but you could add the actual invite link here too. I hope this helps, but it does not solve the option of having Smartsheet auto-generate a meeting. You could also try adding the .ics link to an automated email that Smartsheet sends but that still requires the extra click of adding the invite to a calendar.
Hey, I am using the below formula→ =INDEX({Source_Sheet_Entire_Table}, MATCH([Unique ID]@row , {Source_Sheet_ID_Column}, 0), 1) Although the answer should be "Project details" mentioned in Column 1, it says #No Match. What am I doing wrong?
