Looking to prevent anyone from overwriting a column that has a formula. This is currently not possible, correct? Owners and admins can always overwrite a cell's formula?
Thanks,
AEG
Correct, you would need to allocate everyone else editor permissions or lower to be able to have that sort of control.
Hi Andrew,
How would you use it? What's your use case?
Have a fantastic day!

A potential workaround could be to publish the sheet.
Would that work?

Hi Andreé,
The purpose of the column is for display purposes only -- no data should be put into the column
Or... add every column to a report. This will mean the data will already need to be there, but the changes can be made by admins and yourself to any column except for the formula column.
Happy to help!
Ok. I agree with Lachlan then to use a Report but know that the users that are shared to the report can open the sheet and make changes according to their permissions.
Hope that helps!

Column4 can also have several different things in it besides "good" that I want it…
I've done this a million times - create a report, separated by campus with a total $$. Then add it to a dashboard and make a graph. NOTHING is working right now when I try to do this. I get an error that the data cannot be charted. What the what? Help anyone? Is this a issue since they apparently changed something in the…
