I have a form created for a sheet so that when it is submitted it adds a row to Sheet 1. How do I have a second sheet recognize that a new row has been added to Sheet 1 so that it can pull data from a few of the columns?

There has to be something to decide what to collect from the other sheet.
Can you describe your process in more detail and maybe share the sheet(s) or some screenshots? (Delete/replace any confidential/sensitive information before sharing) That would make it easier to help. (share too, andree@getdone.se)

The solution will depend on the specifics of what you are trying to do. There are three Smartsheet features I would look into depending on what, exactly, you are trying to accomplish:
1. If the goal us simply to move a line from Sheet 1 to the new sheet, and the new sheet never changes, you can probably go with an automated workflow.
2. If you just want the new sheet to access data from Sheet 1, cross-sheet references or cell links might be the way to go. You may need to create intermediate sheets to get the data into a format the second sheet can use.
3. If you want something to literally listen for changes to Sheet 1 and then copy specific information to a new sheet, you will most likely need to use an external app. Zapier is a good service that a lot of folks use. If you need something more customized than what they offer, it may be a job for the API and webhooks.
