Tracking Multiple Select Column

Hello Community,

I have a column set up in my Project Tracker for my team (of 7 functions), that allows us to select the teams we are cross collaborating with (but those teams don't own the project). As a resource, I want to depict a number that shows how many projects they are collaborating/consulting on.

Can I do this? Is there a formula that would search that single column for how many times a term or name is used, even if it's a multiple select column?
