Is it possible to use one form from Sheet1 to create line item in Sheet1 , Sheet2 , Sheet3 etc
I am not able create a line item in multiple sheets with single input form. Am I missing something or this kind of feature does not really exists in Smartsheet. Experts, please advise.

My method would probably work If you don't need to be able to edit the columns from the first sheet.
What do you think?

Technically not possible, a form is associated with a single sheet. However, you could set up copy row automations on the Sheet associated with the form to reproduce the form entry on any other Sheet(s) you'd like.
I made a video showing how to achieve this, you can view it at https://youtu.be/Ah1XrCAkhUc.
This is how a simple automated workflow can be built to copy form entries to multiple Sheets.

Hi Dan,
Yeah, I tried 'Copy Rows' in automation. But I need only certain columns to be replicated in Sheet2, 3, ... Copy Rows replicates all columns from Sheet1 into Sheet2,3..

Hi @Narasimhamurthy Prahaladarao
To add to Dan’s excellent advice.
Another option could be to use cross-sheet formulas (VLOOKUP or INDEX/MATCH) to collect the values from Sheet 1 to the other sheets.
Would that work/help?
I hope that helps!
Be safe and have a fantastic day!

Yeah, VLOOKUP or index/match will work ,but I need to key in primary column data manually to every sheet.
-
Excellent!
The simplest method would be to add an auto-number column in the main sheet and then add a so-called helper column in the other sheets where you add the numbers manually.
Make sense?
