Need to Block Export to excel or PDF option.

Dear Team,

Good Day, I would like to block the Export to excel or PDF option for an edit access user. Will this be possible? Because I need some persons to just work in the sheet only. They don't want to export the data because of security reasons.

Please can you help me with this?

Unfortunately, as far as I know, it's not possible now, but it's an excellent idea!

Please submit an Enhancement Request when you have a moment.

Here's a possible workaround or workarounds (as suggested by Bassam as well)

Given this post is 2 years only, has there been any progress in blocking a collaborator with edit access from exporting to Excel. Same reason is around data security

Need to Block Export to excel or PDF option.
