Meeting Minutes In Project Plan
Hello All,
I was wondering if anyone has found a way to have a link/button in a subsection of their project plan (for multiple different lines in the plan) where they can click and bring up a blank meeting minutes form for a call, complete that form, and archive those minutes still in that specific subsection of the project plan. I understand I can save the minutes and attach that document to the specific line, but I was hoping there was a avoid all those steps. The goal for this would be to have those specific meeting minutes saved in the project plan, corresponding to the date and line item plan, in order to have a quick reference to the meeting minutes all in the built plan. Please let me know if anyone has found a way to do this or other similar simple ideas.
Thanks,
Aaron

Hi Aaron,
Recently I created something similar for a client where we linked to another sheet(s) in the cells for them to fill in a security assessment.
Would that work/help?
I hope that helps!
Have a fantastic day!

Did abrown get a solution for this? Because I really need something like this too. To have to go back to a plan and create minutes form the notes and comments I made in the plan is a waste of time and energy. It feels redundant, but clients want nice clean minutes, not comments in a plan. Anyone get a solution for this?

You could always create a fillable pdf template for your meeting minutes, then use the Generate Document function to map your date, title, comments columns to the relevant sections. Then using the new Generate Document automation feature, automate a checkbox column to generate the minutes document.
