Data Shuttle Export - Inconsistent output for checkbox field
When using Data Shuttle my checkbox fields that are actually checked, do show up as "True" in Excel. However, the unchecked fields sometimes display a "False" value, while most of the unchecked fields appear as "null".
Is there a fix for this? Is there a way to either force all unchecked to be either null, or false? One or the other would be fine, but a mix of both is problematic.
Thank you,
Todd

I would suggest reaching out to Support directly in case it is a bug, but at least there is an option (even if not ideal) in the mean time.

It sounds like maybe the boxes that are coming in as "false" were checked at one point and then unchecked whereas the ones coming in as "null" we never checked to begin with? We may need a helper column to output one of two specific values based on the checkbox within the Smartsheet itself before the export.

Thank you for your analysis, I did a test, and that seems to be the case. However useful a "helper" column may be, this falls back to Smartsheet support for a fix. They should be able to generate an output based on the actual condition that exists without regard for whether or not the field has been checked in the past.
