Document Builder

Hello everyone,

I'm having an issue with document builder. I have spent a lot of time adjusting my fillable PDF over and over, but still am struggling with the alignment of my textboxes. In the fillable PDF, I have a textbox's alignment set to "Center," but when I use the Document Builder, it decides to left align it. The crazy part is that it isn't doing it to every textbox. I have several of the same textbox duplicated and it's only affecting the first or second one in each column. Am I doing something wrong on this?

I use Document Builder a lot and sometimes when filling data into a table on the sheet I'll want the data centered instead of left aligned. It works for me every time the way I've told it to format the data in Adobe. I manually create each and every form fill entry box. I don't copy-paste any of them into the sheet, if that makes any difference.

I've never had a problem getting this to work correctly.

I manually created all of them... Nothing has been copied and pasted into the fillable PDF... Any other suggestions?

If you're still having an issue...

I was just having this same issue but now it seems to be fixed. I turned off Rich Text Formatting, and I made sure I manually saved the PDF and then closed the file each time I adjusted it. You can also try re-naming your pdf file every time you adjust it just to make sure you're uploading the most recent version into Smartsheet every time.

any fillable pdf creator should work. There are free ones online.
