Would you mind explaining your idea a little more?
Is this a different feature to adding Filters on a sheet to hide rows (see here), or using hierarchy to collapse rows (see here)?

Yes, my idea is that there be a feature way we can hide rows in an identical fashion to how we currently hide columns.
