Sorting by Due Date?

Hello,

I am looking to build a task tracker which automatically orders tasks by due date. Entries will likely be made via form.

It's my understanding that items on a Smartsheet grid need to be manually sorted each time new entries are added. Is there any way to work around this to enable automatic sorting by due date?
