Automation Question
Hello,
I am new to smartsheets and I'm trying to use the automation tool to auto-populate some of the information on my sheet so it doesn't have to be filled in manually but it doesn't seem to want to work.
I have an interview tracker and what I want to do is if I select "No Show" under the attendance column that it auto-populates status, conditional offer, assessment, assessment results and wage. Below is what I want it to look like when attendance is marked as no show.
This is the automation flow that I've created but it doesn't seem to want to work.
Am I missing something?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Ashley, you have perplexed me completely! I have no idea how that happened!
Attempt two: can you update your trigger into "When Rows Are Changed"
Then, delete all of these erroneous rows and hit save.
Finally, add "No Show" into like three rows. Save your sheet, and reload (automation takes a second to run completely).
Is your "Attendance" column set up as a dropdown or as a text?

@Ashley.Lowe so Automations does not happen instantly. You'll need to wait a few minutes for it to run. You can also force run automations by right clicking it and selecting "Run Now"

Ashley, it doesn't appear to be setup improperly so I have some questions:
Are you trying to get rows that already had "No Show" in the "Attendance" column to populate? If yes, this won't work without an extra step: if you are on the main automation screen click the three dots on your automation and then choose "Run Now". This will give you a pop up and choose to run now on every row in the sheet.
Did this sort you out? I may have a few other ideas if it didn't.

I would actually remove all the data that is currently on the sheet and then try it but still wasn't working. I just did the run now function you recommended and it just did this lol
Yet there has been nothing selected under attendance, it just automatically populated into a bunch of the rows randomly.
