Is there a way that I can use automation to move row AND notify someone in one workflow when triggered by a change?

You can alert and then add an action to move the row.

Ha ha, so simple! (Now if I could just get the powers that be to add the function COPY a row to the automation options!!!) Thank you!

Yes! That would be nice. We talked to a product manager about the current MOVE function and a future COPY function with the options to specify which columns go in the MOVE or COPY function. Sometimes we don't need all of the columns. See my Wishlist Post here: https://community.smartsheet.com/discussion/my-smartsheet-wishlist

I have set up this exact automation with the alert + move, but the alert does not work. Only the move.

Hey @Brian Rogers

There are a few possible reasons for this.

Check to ensure your notification preferences allow alerts if you're the person that made the change

Look to see if the alerts are showing in-app, just not in email
If so, check to see if the emails are going into your Spam folder

More granular time options for needed for Workflow triggering
Currently Triggering recurring workflows are only supported at the top of each hour. For instance 10:00, or 11:00, etc. Would like the ability to set 10:30 or 10:45.
