Smartsheet integration with Google Calendar
Hello,
I was relieved to see that SS has a native integration with Google Calendar, but I'm struggling to get the calendar to display events for a specific time period rather, than just an event on a day.
I think this is mainly due to the fact that the date columns in SS can't handle Date/time, unlike most other spreadsheet systems.
Is there a workaround for this or is it back to GSheets for me?

Hi @whatafaff
I hope you're well and safe!
Unfortunately, it's not possible to show it between the hours now, but it's an excellent idea!
Here's a possible workaround or workarounds
- You can have a formula that shows the time in the title.
Would that work/help?
I hope that helps!
Be safe, and have a fantastic week!

Hey @Andrée Starå,
Thanks for your suggestion. Can you help as to what the suggested formula might look like for this?

Happy to help!
Try something like this.
=StartDate@row + " - " + Time@row
Would show similar to this: 18/01/24 - 04:30 PM - 05:30 PM
Make sense?
Would that work?

Hey @Andrée Starå,
Thanks for your help. Unfortunately this doesn't work as Smartsheet doesn't let you export to GCal unless it's formatted as a date column. Adding this formula makes it a standard text/number column so it doesn't work.
Gcal can accept dd-mm-yyyy hh:mm format so it's a pity that Smartsheet can't export in the same format.
Cheers
