Counting Dates within a specific month

I am trying to count the number of entries per month. My formula for January specifically is below. Can anyone fix this?

=COUNTIF({Sourced Date}, MONTH(1))

Yes, you would add the cross-sheet range instead of the sheet range.

Something like this.

=COUNTIFS({Date Range}, IFERROR(MONTH(@cell), 0) = 1)

Try this:

=COUNTIFS([Date Column]:[Date Column], IFERROR(MONTH(@cell), 0) = 1)

Then for February, just change the last # to 2:

=COUNTIFS([Date Column]:[Date Column], IFERROR(MONTH(@cell), 0) = 2)
