Update Request when there are more than one Assignee for a Row/Task

Hello Community!

What is the experience when I set up an Automation to request an update - specifically to update the %Complete for a task when there is more than one person assigned? Does everyone get an individual email? or Is there one Email for the row in question?

If it is the former - could the assignees potentially overwrite each others' update?

Hi @Dixie Morse,

If there are two users in the cell used to send out the request, both users will get it. BOth users will also be able to update the field(s) you have requested the update for. The second user will be able to see data as per the change the first user had entered, but they will be able to update it again.

Yes, it should send to as many people as there are in a row, I think the maximum I have ever had in a cell to notify people is 4 or 5, but I see no reason why it would not work for more than that.

Perfect! Thanks so much John. How fantastic that any updates made will dynamically show up to those who click to update later. I will be able to amend the info I include in the Update Request to help users understand the process. Can I assume this will follow the same process if there are more than 2 assignees?
