Inappropriately jokey email

I received the following automated email:

Guess what?

Your submitted hours pulled a disappearing act! They've been rejected quicker than a soggy Valentine's Day card. Time for a magical rewrite! (Check with your PM)

I am currently in a dispute with my employer over travel hours. The jokey tone of this email does not help the situation. Does anyone else think this type of communication is not appropriate for a professional platform such as Smartsheet? I'm curious to hear what people think.

This seems to be someone who set up the workflow (an internal or maybe external consultant) and thought it might be funny. It could be a mistake that someone had this during development and then missed changing it to something more professional.

Thanks for sharing the screenshot! @Andrée Starå is correct, this is internal messaging that has been customized within the alert workflow, and doesn't come from Smartsheet.
