Automated Email with a CC
Is there away to request an update with a CC option ?
For example we have a workflow where a request was made and actioned on and goes back to the Original Requester. If the original requester hasn't replied back within a certain time period, we kick an automated reminder.
If additional time goes by and still nothing, then we kick the notification to them again (requester - contact field) as well as their manager (in a contact field), and the person who is waiting on the response (Contact field) .
The thing we are trying to accomplish would be the equivalent of copying a manager on an email with the teammate on it so the teammate (requester) is aware.
I know the update requests tell you at the bottom who else it was sent to but it doesn't show in the To/CC box in an email.

Hi @tovythomas,
I think this might help you…
When setting up your update request you can use double curly brackets "{{Manager}}" in the text field of the subject or the message to help the recipient understand what the request is doing (in this case the "cc-ing").
See my example snags here:
And this is what the Update Request looks like to the recipient:
I hope this is getting to what you are needing here. Let me know if you need more help on this!
Best,
Will

Thanks @Will Jeffords , we are already doing number 1 but it sends as 2 seperate emails but I may add your number 2 to identify it clearer. I was hoping there would be more in the email template on Updates/Alerts (i believe i've entered feature requests). Ideally, I wanted the email update to show up with a CC equivalent so when the teammate gets the email , they see it copied to a team leader right off the bat.

I agree…solid feature request!
