Form Submission Creating Multiple Rows

Hi there,

I know this question has been asked previously in the forum, I'm hoping since that time, there has been more information around this topic.

We are leveraging Smartsheet for a core business process and would like to use the functionality of a form as it simplifies the process and removes some of the technical aspects to the end user. However, we need a single form to be able to create multiple rows of information in some cases.

This is a hurdle we've been trying to overcome in other ways, but unfortunately, we keep returning to needing this feature as part of our solution.

Are there any Smartsheet features that have been release that can help solve for this? If not, has anyone successfully been able to create multiple rows of data from a single form submission?

Appreciate any help you can provide.

The best add-on feature I can think of for something like this would probably be DataMesh: https://www.smartsheet.com/marketplace/premium-apps/datamesh

DataMesh allows you to pull data from sheets and row reports and remap them in sheets. If you were to use DataMesh, I would probably suggest having the columns you want in two separate reports (or DataMeshed into two separate sheets) and then combining them into one sheet but on separate rows based on unique identifiers from those reports (or sheets).

Without DataMesh, I'd struggle to think of a way to separate the rows that was completely automated.
